When it comes to eyeliner, it really does depend on your skin type. Some girls suit liquid liner others prefer gel. For me, I've always had issues finding a product that is both pigmented and has high longevity, as I wear a lot of metallic eyeshadow and often find certain liners end up smudging off or turning a silver/bronze colour throughout the day. Thankfully MAC Fluidline Gel Eyeliner does none of that.
Priced at £15.50, it's one liner I'm constantly replacing and is the perfect compromise between a pencil and liquid. When applied with a small eyeliner brush - I recommend the MAC 266 small angled brush - it's precise, defined and best of all pigmented! The colour I buy is a Blacktrack. As the name suggests the hue is a deep black matte colour that's smooth and makes eyes look dramatic and bold. When you apply the liner there's no flaking and the lines do come across dry or cracked. It can be layered on thick to create a heavy looking shape that's ideal for the evening hours or it also works well for a more subdued flick perfect for daywear. I'm hoping to post a more detailed review of the liner in the next few weeks and show some of the different shapes you can create with it. In the meantime, do you have a favourite eyeliner?
