REVIEW: PANASONIC TECHNICS DH1250 HEADPHONES

If I could I'd spend every evening at a gig. Alluring stage lights, loud music and a chilled alcohol beverage? Yes please. There's an unrecognisable vibe which goes alongside live music. One which is almost impossible to portray on a record. After all seeing your favourite band live is always better than sitting at home and listening to their CD, right?

But it's time to face facts. Unless I end up winning The X Factor or joining a HAIM tribute band, my ideal world of spending every evening relishing in the opportunity of listening to live music is near enough impossible. After all, I can't sing. Luckily for me, Panasonic are on hand when it comes to my live music cravings with their iconic Technics DH1250 Headphones.

Ideal for professional or personal use, the headphones are any music fanatics dream with a powerful sound quality which really does let off that 'with the band' vibe. Songs sound bolder, bigger and brasher, thanks to the tech-savvy 50mm driver unit that gives off a supreme finish, making it feel as if you're right there watching your favourite music guru. What more could a girl ask for?

Donning a sleek silver and black design, the headphones themselves are also cutting edge. No longer will you have to rummage around in your bag for what feels like hours, searching for those flimsy plastic buds that are no doubt hidden under your purse and trusty iPhone. Instead, the speakers flip up inside the headpiece making the set small and compatible yet easy to find - ideal for those on the go.

Other little extras which make the headphones a new favourite of mine, include an in-line microphone that controls the volume on your iPhone or iPod, two types of cables, a nifty little stereo plug and an exclusive carry pouch that's convenient when it comes to regular, everyday use.

If you're a massive music fan, like me, I'd love to know what you think of the headphones. What headphones do you own? Do you like the sound of Panasonic's Technics? Pardon the pun. Leave a comment below.

  1. I have never purchased a pair of headphones over £20 and they work so well I would be hesitant to spent more, although I would like to try these and see why they are so much more, if only you could walk into a Panasonic store, but there are none anywhere near to me!
